Una vez que el tocho alcanza la temperatura de forja, se sujeta en matrices de precisi\u00f3n y se comprime axialmente mediante prensas hidr\u00e1ulicas o mec\u00e1nicas. Esta presi\u00f3n controlada hace que el metal fluya hacia el exterior, refinando la estructura del grano y aumentando la densidad.
